If as an admin wishes to execute that password policy to work profiles only, then you need to follow the steps mentioned below:
This password policy will be implemented to all managed devices in that admin’s domain. In the Admin console ( Device management > Password Settings ), admins can enable their users to set passwords on managed devices and specify certain requirements for those passwords. This will protect corporate data while leaving users free to protect their personal apps however they desire to. With this update launching, G Suite Business admins will be able to execute a password policy on only the apps which are within these work profiles. So Google Mobile Management has made it possible to bifurcate the two, on most of the Android devices by setting up work profiles.
Many employees use their mobile phones for both personal and work purposes. Admins can ensure this work profile security by mandating that the managed devices are protected with a password and that the password meets certain guidelines (for example, password strength, number of characters, etc.). Google has recently introduced Google Mobile Management with which G Suite admins can give their users a secure access to work applications and data on their respective mobile devices.
